1 Project Title : Reusable Aerosol Boxes for treating COVID19 Patients
Expected Outcome : This device helps anesthesiologists and other physicians while intubating patients by protecting them from aerosols and droplets containing virus
Expected Timeline : Delivered to many Medical Colleges in Kerala

2 Project Title : Emergency Ventilator with Exhale Disinfector
Expected Outcome : A breathing aid for the patients experiencing the difficulty in breathing.
Expected Timeline : Prototype delivered to Govt.Medical College Kozhikode, Kerala
Remarks : In the Emergency Ventilator developed by NITC, the exhaled air of the corona patient is bubbled through soap solution to disinfect it, which is a unique feature of this product.

3 Project Title : Development of Nasal Air filter
Expected Outcome : The Nasal air filter contains viscous drop of oil, glycerin gels, antiseptic/disinfectant solution so as to disinfect the air (inhale/exhale) containing the corona viruses
Expected Timeline : Will be ready before October 2020
Remarks : To design and develop a Nasal Air Filter to protect the human from environmental pollutants such as dust, particulate matter (PM) and microbes by inserting snuggly fitted disposable Nasal Air filter in to the nostrils .

4 Project Title : Fabrication of UV disinfection chambers for office files
Expected Outcome : Spreading of microorganisms through surfaces could be prevented effectively in a non contact mode. The chamber could be provided to local administration offices.
Expected Timeline : Will be ready by April End/May I week
Remarks : There will be provisions for safe insertion of files/ papers into the chamber. The lamp energy, exposure time, and lamp-file distance could be controlled remotely. The whole setup will be designed in such a way that harmful UVC radiation won’t escape out of the box.

5 Project Title : Design, Fabrication and Installation of Automatic Baggage Sanitization Machine
Expected Outcome : A facility/machine for automatic sanitization of baggage brought to the campus by students/faculty/staff/visitors.
Expected Timeline : Two Weeks, Will be ready by May I week
Remarks : The proposed machine is similar in construction to the baggage x-ray scanners installed in airports. The machine consists of two major systems (i) a roller conveyor system, which will move the baggage at a controlled speed and (ii) a disinfectant sprayer system
