Expected Outcome : The robot will deliver food, medicine and other materials very easily.

Remarks : The robot can also be used as station keeping inside the ward to monitor the activities around the area.

2 Project Title : Low cost face mask
Expected Outcome : Facemasks help in stopping large particle droplets, splashes, sprays or splatter, aerosol that may contain germs (viruses and bacteria) from reaching the wearer’s mouth and nose and may help to prevent transmission.

Remarks : It will definitely help the health warriors working in difficult conditions without proper protection.

5 Project Title : Shoe Sanitization Facillity
Expected Outcome : To combat spread of coronavirus due to shoes as noticed in Italy
Expected Timeline : Being Installed and made operational
Remarks : It is learnt from several studies that shoe sole acted as major source of corona virus transmission in Italy during COVID-19 outbreak. A shoe sanitization facility that can disinfect shoe sole of a visitor entering into the campus in less than 30 seconds has been devised for the purpose.

7 Project Title : Sanitizing capsules for human beings at NIT Jalandhar
Expected Outcome : Effective disinfection of individuals to combat COVID-19 transmission

Remarks : In the proposed project, instead of tunnel, a capsule has been proposed to accommodate an individual (male/female) in the shape of an envelope.
