2 Project Title : Webinars on COVID-19: Risk Management & Simulation Efforts.
Expected Outcome : This workshop is an attempt to provide answers for queries of the scholars to understand the COVID-19 spread trend and possible strategies for its containment.
Expected Timeline : 02-03 July
Remarks : Students and scholars from any stream who are interested in learning about statistical analysis of spread of COVID-19 pandemic and strategies to restrict its spread can join the webinars. Identified officially as SARS-COV-2, or colloquially as novel corona virus, has recently spread from Wuhan, China to 213 other countries across the globe, infecting countless people on its way, with Covid-19, the disease, associated with this virus. The virus presented unprecedented challenges, but also provided a rare study opportunity, which, if seized, will help us understand future risks from similar outbreaks. This workshop will objectively underscore that data is both a powerful armament, to fight epidemics, and a potent shield in the line of defence, against future outbreaks. In these two days we will learn how to collate, discern, pattern match & visualize them. Also, the knowhow to draw inferences like epidemiological projections will be disseminated. In these two days we shall learn about public health & livelihood management during epidemic and modelling them in two different computer languages, including python & R. This workshop will deal with basics of these tools, data processing and analysis. Further information will be provided before/during the training sessions. The registration to the workshop is free but mandatory. See URL for registration to the webinars.

3 Project Title : Lockdown as a COVID-19 Pandemic Mitigating Policy Intervention
Expected Outcome : To measure the quantitative success of lockdown in different provinces of India during COVID-19 outbreak.
Expected Timeline : 01 Month
Remarks : We use publicly available timeline data on the Covid-19 outbreak for India to calculate the important quantifier of the outbreak, the sought-after Rt or the time varying reproduction number of the outbreak. This number can faithfully tell us the success of lockdown measures inside Indian states, as a containment policy for the spread of Covid-19 viral disease.

4 Project Title : Development of a Low Cost Thermal Scanning Device for Public Places
Expected Outcome : Product development for automatic thermal scanning at the entrance of the Department, Institution main gate, Banks, Railways stations, Airport, Hospital gates including all public places.
Expected Timeline : Six to Nine Months
Remarks : In this work, our aim is to develop a low cost thermal scanning device, which can be installed at the entrance of public places. Its function is to perform automatic thermal scanning and give an alert to the concerned authority. Further, the device will also provide awareness about the infection possibility of a person.

5 Project Title : Design and Development of disinfecting boxes to disinfect Mask, mobile, PPE, papers, files, currency notes
Expected Outcome : Design and prototyping of UV-C wavelength based disinfecting box
Expected Timeline : Prototype is ready. We can produce desired order within 20-25 days
Remarks : UV-C light is invisible. And it’s unbeatable. The “C” wavelength of the electromagnetic UV family has, among other things, germicidal effects — destroying microorganisms: bacteria, virus, protist, and fungus/mold. Microorganisms are simple organic structures that readily absorb the UV-C wavelength, causing photo-disassociation (destruction). With their DNA broken, microorganisms can’t function or reproduce, and they die.UV-CLEAN self-disinfecting technology breaks down infectious microorganisms up to 24? away, below the UV-CLEAN unit’s mounting location. UV-CLEAN kills 99.9% of pathogens on high-touch surfaces. According to a BET-R study funded (in large part) by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC): The incidence of target organisms among exposed patients was significantly lower after adding UV-C light to standard cleaning strategies. Ultraviolet disinfection is powerful and effective.

6 Project Title : Design and Development of UV Tower to Sterilize ICU, Medical rooms
Expected Outcome : Design and prototyping of UV- Tower
Expected Timeline : We can produce desired order within 10 days based on availability of material
Remarks : The “C” wavelength of the electromagnetic UV family has, among other things, germicidal effects — destroying microorganisms: bacteria, virus, protist, and fungus/mold. UV Tower is used to Sterilize ICU, Medical rooms, Stores, Kitchen, Rooms, Halls and areas where multiple items are equipped. UV Tower is useful to Sterilize public transport like buses and trains. Rishi Agastya UV- Tower Indian Govt. Using trains coaches as temporary beds to fight against corona this sterilizer can be used as a hands free Sanitizer To kill Germs in Office rooms, commercial use, Cinemas, Public toilets, and place where multiple gathering occurs

7 Project Title : Design and Development of UV Masks for COVID-19
Expected Outcome : Design and prototyping of UV Masks
Expected Timeline : We can produce desired order within 20 days based on availability of material
Remarks : UV based mask for safety from infected air from becteria, viruses. Our air is not clean to inhale it directly. To get clean and fresh infection less air we have designed a mask based on UV. Which will help our doctors who is spending a huge time in the vincity of a COVID-19 patient. In the time of pendemic situation air coming to the mouth is not filtered as well as treated. But UV based face mask instantly clean the air coming directly to the environment and gives you filtered, treated, and infection less air.

10 Project Title : Detection of Novel CoronaVirus using early symptoms with IoT based Primary health check up System
Expected Outcome : The preliminary screening of novel coronavirus has been done through thermal screening at most of the public places. However, it is not a reliable solution due to limitation of accuracy. The proposed system would help to find out the respiratory, body temperature and heart rate of the person for the early detection of COVID 19. This device can be further extended with an automatic Internet of Things (IoT) based dispensary to deliver low cost medicines with expert advice for further actions.
